I have imported a .csv of products into my db via phpmyadmin and all the products are there ok, however in the control panel of VM they can’t be seen. I created a new product and this is seen in the db just fine so the settings appear correct. I have tried using the tools to update the db etc with no success.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction or will I need to pay for csvi or something?
TIA

I guess you should import via backend on joomla using Virtuemart import tool if it has or some 3rd party extension like CSV improved. As I found on google virtuemart import tool is poor so better use some 3rd party extension.
