AcyMailing cost

Postby AcyMailing » Wed 06 Jan 2021 11:15 am

We're using AcyMailing for a weekly newsletter, which we send to 1200 subscribers. The newsletter contains (K2) articles written the past week, JEM events for the upcomming week and banners. We send the mailing via the Elastic Email smtp service. Up till now the free service was sufficient enough, but Elastic Email has announced they're going to limit the free service to 100 mails a day. We're can upgrade, but that will cost €15,- a month.
Does anyone have an alternative for sending bulk mail with AcyMailing?

There are several alternatives you can consider for sending bulk emails with AcyMailing:

Amazon SES is a cost-effective and reliable service for sending bulk emails. It integrates well with AcyMailing, and you pay per use, which can be more economical for your volume of 1200 subscribers.
Pricing: Approximately $0.10 per 1000 emails sent.

Sendinblue:
Sendinblue offers a free plan that allows you to send up to 300 emails per day, which could be sufficient for your weekly newsletter. They also offer affordable paid plans if you need more capacity.
Pricing: Free for up to 300 emails per day; paid plans start at around $25 per month for higher volumes.

Mailgun:
Mailgun is another reliable service that offers a pay-as-you-go model. It's known for its robust API and integration capabilities, making it a good choice for AcyMailing.
Pricing: First 5,000 emails free each month, then $0.80 per 1000 emails.

SendGrid:
SendGrid provides scalable email services with a free tier that might meet your needs. It offers a free plan with a limited number of emails, and you can upgrade as needed.
Pricing: Free for the first 100 emails per day; paid plans start at $14.95 per month.

Mailjet:
Mailjet offers flexible plans and can integrate with AcyMailing. They have a free tier that might cover your needs, and paid plans are also available.
Pricing: Free for up to 200 emails per day; paid plans start at $9.65 per month.

Conclusion:

Each of these alternatives has its own strengths and pricing structures. You might want to evaluate them based on your specific needs, such as daily email volume, budget, and integration ease with AcyMailing. Transitioning to a new service might require some setup effort, but these services offer good documentation and support to help you with the process.
